Equipment of internal connection and commutation АВСК1 is intended to provide operation in set of mobile objects with internal and external telephony.

Equipment of internal connection and commutation АВСК1 is a set of commutation-amplifying devices that provide the subscribers with the chosen types of communication.

Equipment of internal connection and commutation АВСК1
depending on version provides with the following:

  • internal two-way radiotelephony with all subscribers (up to seven) with self-listening;   
  • internal circular two-way communication between all objects with self-listening;
  • service two-way communication with the subscriber of telephone-set removed to the distance up to 500m;
  • simplex radiotelephony via VHF and HF radio sets to the subscribers of the object (up to four) and subscriber of the telephone set in remote control mode of the radio set;
  • simplex radiotelephony via VHF radio set to the driver;
  • listening of the radio receiver by the subscribers (up to four) of the object;
  • reception of the tone signal from the radio receiver, reception and transmission of tone signal via radio set and wired telephone line;
  • possibility to listen the signal from GO-27 equipment in telephones of the communication helmet by all subscribers independently from their operation modes;
  • possibility of smooth tuning the signal level in telephones of the communication helmet.

Purpose of the Units of the equipment of internal connection and commutation

Unit AC34 is the main commutation unit and used in all performance versions of equipment ABCK1.

Two radio sets, radio receiver and power supply from mains are switched to the unit.  Unit AC34 is a commander’s (radist’s) subscriber unit. The commander’s push-to-talk switch is connected to the unit in order to provide necessary types of external and internal communication.

Unit AC34 provides:

  • power supply for the rest units of the equipment;
  • low-frequency circuits commutation of subscribers of units AC35, AC36, AC38 on the radio devices (PC1, PC2, RCVR) of the object in the intercom mode (with reception level 10V);
  • commutation of low-frequency chains of the unit AC37 on RS1;
  • calling the radio equipment, reception of calls from radio equipment with forming of tonal signal of the corresponding frequency;
  • power amplification of the voice signals coming to the input of the internal communication amplifier of the unit AC34 from the subscribers working in the internal communication network. 

Volume regulator VOLUME, situated on the unit AC34 provides signal volume regulation sent to the telephones of the subscribers in internal communication mode. Using the cable it is possible to switch up to three subscribers who are constantly in the internal circular net to the unit AC34.

 

The other subscribers units, like unit AC35, AC37, AC36, AC38 may be switched to the unit AC34.

Unit AC35 is intended to provide its subscriber with the internal and external operation modes. The subscriber’s push-to-talk switch is connected to the unit AC35.

The unit has operation mode switch. The unit itself is connected via two cut-off points directly to the unit AC34 or via unit AC38 or via unit AC36.

 

Unit AC36 is intended to provide its subscriber with the internal and external operation modes. The subscriber’s push-to-talk switch is connected to the unit AC36.

The unit has operation mode switch. The unit itself is connected via two cut-off points directly to the unit AC34 and may be used as an extender for switching of unit AC35.

 

Unit AC37 is intended to provide the driver of the moving object with the external communication via RS1 and with the internal communication. The subscriber’s push-to-talk switch is connected to the unit AC37.

Emergency equipment is switched to the unit AC37. There is a matching amplifier inside the unit that provides the matching of the chains of the emergency equipment with the input of the internal communication amplifier of the unit AC34.

The unit itself is connected directly to the unit AC34.

 

Unit AC38 is intended for connection of two-wired telephone line, reception and sending of inductor call from the line. It provides the subscriber of the line with external radio communication and service communication, and also it is used to provide the unit AC38 subscriber with the internal and external communication modes. The subscriber’s push-to-talk switch is connected to the unit AC38.

The unit itself is connected via two cut-off points directly to the unit AC34 and may be used as an extender for switching of unit AC35.

 

Push-to-talk switch MN1 is intended to switch radio set from reception to transmission mode, to provide circular internal communication and voice frequency signal amplification received from the laryngophones of the communication helmet.

Push-to-talk switch is produced in several versions that differ from each other by the length of the cable.
